These units were made to store a collection of vinyl records. They float either side of the chimney breast, fitting snugly into the alcoves to use as much of the available space as possible. The fitted shelves above provide plenty of room for books.

The doors flap up and then slide in to the carcass This allows the cabinets to be left open without the doors getting in the way. The action of the doors is demonstrated in the video above.
